about

Terminal Dysentery existed between 2001 and 2003. We were four guys bonded by the hardcore punk and crust scenes of the D/FW metroplex, and many mediums of activism ranging from animal rights, to political prisoner support, to anti-war protest. In our short few years of existence we played many benefit shows for Animal Liberation of Texas, the D/FW chapter of Anarchist Black Cross, Peace in the Park, and the precursor to what eventually became Ft. Worth's world renowned community center and venue known as 1919 Hemphill.

We played many shows with local bands like Resigned to Fate, League of Struggle, Akkolyte, Dissever, Unit 21, ...OfDeath, Garuda, and Bread and Water and opened for some great touring act such as Otophobia(GA/PA), Phobia(CA), Elder Wrath(OR), Systemic Infection(IL), Artimus Pyle(CA). Along the way we befriended lots of bands from both Oklahoma City and Houston being that both cities were a mere 4 hours away from North Texas and had budding d.i.y. punk and activist scenes. Oklahoma introduced us to many great friends in bands such as Das Herpias, Shackles Await, Snotrockitz, and Partial Birth Abortion and in Houston we formed a tight bond with the likes of P.L.F., One Last Chance, E.O.S., Race Against Time, and Dethro Skull.

During the summer of 2002 we toured with League of Struggle through the midwest and played with bands like Black Market Fetus and Despoil in Des Moines and Systemic Infection, Los Jodidos, and Reaccion in Chicago.

This discography contains one unused track from 2002 for a compilation that never saw the light of day, our 2003 split 7" with Subsistencia(Colombia), our 2002 split 7" with League of Struggle, and our 2001 demo.

Hope you enjoy!,
